User Acquisition Specialist

War On Cancer is a Stockholm-based tech start-up that aims to radically improve the mental health of everyone affected by cancer. The first step towards achieving that has been to create the digital support tool – War On Cancer.  We’re now in search of our user acquisition specialist, who will play an invaluable part of growing our user base through paid traffic and collaborations while belonging to the marketing and product team.   

We are on the hunt for a sharp User Acquisition Manager or a future star in User Acquisition. The successful candidate will become a key player in growing War On Cancer’s user base. At this stage, we’re open to both super-experienced UA’s as well as someone who’s just fresh out from learning. If you’re a junior candidate, don’t worry, we’ll support and give you the tools needed in order to grow and thrive in your professional career.

  • Become one of the most sought-after UA’s in the country. 
  • Be or grow into becoming an expert in conversion optimization, both for app and desktop.  
  • Deliver conversion campaigns that set new industry standards and referenced as cases. 
  • Continuously keep on working on your personal development, learning about yourself, and growing mentally, emotionally, and physically.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute War On Cancer’s mobile user acquisition strategy across multiple advertising networks.
  • Work with data sets to create and deploy analytical frameworks in order to optimize campaigns and targeting based on performance metrics.
  • Closely collaborate with designers, product, and of course, the marketing team. 
  • Be a key stakeholder in growing War On Cancer’s market share for both current and new markets.
  • Lead multiple projects and manage monthly budgets, high volume of new users and ambitious growth KPI's.
  • Impact the product roadmap subject to user acquisition efforts.

We believe you might have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in media buying/user acquisition/performance marketing.
  • Competitive mindset. We appreciate individuals who aren’t afraid to take on challenging tasks but with humility. 
  • Persistent on validating data and use data to make decisions.
  • Excellent English and Swedish communication skills, other languages are always a plus.
